Laura has over 20 years’ experience as a counsellor.  It is through a non-judgmental supportive approach that her clients are able to make positive shifts in their lives.

 

Laura has specifically focused on:

• Trauma recovery - working with individuals who have experienced trauma, sexual violence and domestic violence
• couples therapy,
• sex and intimacy difficulties
• general areas of depression, anxiety and stress management.
• life transitions

 

Laura draws from a range of therapeutic models including EMDR to address an individuals’ needs and equip them with skills to take on life’s challenges.

 

Aside from her work as a therapist Laura has taught at tertiary institutions, presented at conferences and delivered workshops. She has also traveled the country delivering vicarious trauma training for other trauma workers in order to help combat the detrimental impacts of working with trauma.

 

Laura now resides in Woollahra, Sydney and has completed studies in energy healing. She incorporates reiki, chakra balancing and sound healing to her healing and has proven to get great results.
